After the first world tasting promoted by the Italian Sommelier Association (AIS Italia) in April 2019 during Vinitaly , the meeting between two of the creators of the most popular wines in Italy, Tenuta del Paguro and Jamin Portofino, today the underwater winemaking method is growing at an exponential rate.
The same opening concept of TG1 on April 2, 2021 in prime time , confirms in the wine refined underwater unique characteristics that give an unmistakable experience to the palate, thanks to physical factors that the sea naturally offers.
Since the meeting of Emanuele Kottakhs and Gianluca Grilli respectively in Jamin and Tenuta del Paguro, the UnderWater Wines Team Work is growing with the intent of protecting, promoting and regulating this refinement methodology, especially stimulating the approach to scientific research in the oenological field with the intent and attention to promoting and spreading the culture of underwater refinement.
